Role Overview

We’re looking for an AI Builder to help Grain work smarter and scale faster through AI, automation, and technology. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role working across Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, and other teams based on business needs. You’ll identify high-impact problems and opportunities, understand the processes behind them, and build practical AI-powered solutions from end to end. We’re looking for someone who is AI-native, analytical, curious, and a natural builder - someone who can take an ambiguous problem, figure out what actually needs solving, and turn it into a simple, effective solution.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation across the organization.
• Understand and analyze workflows, systems, and data to uncover manual work, bottlenecks, gaps, and inefficiencies.
• Design and build internal tools, AI-powered workflows, agents, and automations that solve real business problems.
• Own solutions end-to-end - from understanding the problem and choosing the right approach to building, implementing, and measuring impact.
• Work closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering on a wide range of business challenges.
• Explore new AI tools and technologies and apply them where they can create meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Builder mindset - hands-on experience building projects, tools, workflows, or automations using AI.
• Active, hands-on use of tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini , and others.
• Strong systems, analytical, and product thinking , with the ability to break down complex problems and turn them into practical solutions.
• Technical curiosity and comfort working with systems, data, APIs, and automation tools .
• High ownership, independence, attention to detail, and curiosity.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Bonus Points
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Programming, Information Systems, or another relevant technical field. Strong self-taught builders are equally welcome.
• Experience with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Retool, or Clay , or with APIs, SQL, Python, or scripting .
• Experience in Product, Operations, Finance, Sales, Business Operations, fintech, or payments.
• Previous startup or high-tech experience.
