AI & Deep Learning Researcher

Elbit Systems' ISTAR & EW AI R&D Group is seeking a talented and experienced AI & Deep Learning Researcher to join our dynamic and innovative research team. Our expertise lies in AI for signals, including radar, communication, electronic warfare and acoustic signals. We use deep learning and reinforcement learning to solve challenging problems in these domains

You will be joining an experienced and mature team with strong AI research methodologies and all the necessary infrastructure to conduct advanced AI research using modern AI development tools. You will work alongside researchers who are signal-domain experts and combine your AI expertise with their domain knowledge to create state-of-the-art solutions

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning algorithms
• Apply AI techniques to signal-processing challenges
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including AI researchers, signal-processing experts, and system engineers
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and contribute innovative ideas to ongoing projects

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a leading university
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning algorithm development
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• Significant advantage: Strong understanding of signal processing, including signal-processing concepts, terminology, and techniques
