Automation Engineer

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web/mobile applications and APIs while working closely with experienced automation engineers. You will contribute to existing automation frameworks, expand test coverage, and continue developing your technical skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web/mobile applications and APIs within established frameworks
• Contribute to test automation for assigned features under the guidance of senior engineers
• Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright and Appium
• Develop and expand API test coverage
• Add automated tests to existing CI/CD pipelines and help monitor execution results
• Investigate test failures, perform basic root-cause analysis, and report defects
• Validate system behavior and data using SQL (and NoSQL with support as needed)
• Participate in code reviews and follow team coding standards
• Share progress and collaborate with teammates during onboarding and day-to-day work

Required Skills

Up to 2 years of experience in Automation Development.

Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java or TypeScript (with willingness to learn the other).

Web/Mobile & API Automation

Some hands-on experience with web/mobile UI automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) or a strong willingness to learn.

Exposure to API testing and building basic test cases.

Solid understanding of

Object-oriented programming and clean coding basics.

Web/mobile application fundamentals and HTTP.

JSON structure and request/response handling.

Familiarity with common test design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).

Proficiency with

Basic SQL queries for data validation.

Git version control and standard branching workflows.

Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.

Advantages
