About the role

As a Senior Backend Engineer at BlinkOps, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and evolution of our backend services.The technical depth of the product means you'll have real influence over how features get defined, not just how they're built. *Please note that this position is located in Israel

Your responsibilities

What you'll be doing Design, build, test, and ship cloud-native microservices, with scalability, reliability, and observability built in. Own features from definition to release, working with product managers and customer-facing teams to land on requirements that make sense technically and commercially. Take on problem areas that aren't yet defined - research them, form a view on how they should work at Blink, and present a direction before building it. Work across a range of tech stacks, particularly cloud services, Linux, and containerized environments like Kubernetes and Docker. Design and build with security at the forefront, applying key security concepts to protect our customers and their data.

Requirements

• What you'll need
• 5+ years of backend development experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills — you can explain technical trade-offs to non-engineers, drive a design discussion, and partner directly with Product.
• A track record of turning loosely defined problems into a plan, without waiting for a spec.
• Hands-on experience across a variety of tech stacks, with proficiency in cloud services, Linux, and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Background or genuine interest in cybersecurity — SOC operations, detection and response, threat intelligence.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
