Blockchain Consultant/ Architect

EY Israel’s Blockchain Center of Excellence (CoE) is looking for a Blockchain Consultant/Architect to support our clients across the end-to-end blockchain lifecycle, from business use-case identification and onboarding and solution architecture through implementation, security design, and risk management.

This is a multidisciplinary role in the blockchain consulting domain combining business advisory, blockchain architecture, and cybersecurity , supporting clients from use-case definition and solution design through implementation, security, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Blockchain Advisory & Architecture
• Identify business needs and map them to relevant blockchain use cases and solutions.
• Assess blockchain suitability and translate business requirements into technical architectures.
• Design blockchain solutions, including integration with enterprise systems, applications, APIs, wallets, and digital asset infrastructure.
• Advise on platform selection, architecture patterns, scalability, interoperability, and technology considerations.
• Support PoCs, solution onboarding, implementation, and transition into production.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, developers, security teams, and technology architects.
• Blockchain Security, Risk & Governance
• Perform blockchain-focused threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews .
• Define security requirements and secure-by-design principles for blockchain architectures.
• Assess smart contracts, wallets, key management, transaction flows, APIs, blockchain integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Evaluate digital asset custody, signing mechanisms, access controls, and cryptographic key management.
• Identify blockchain-specific attack scenarios and recommend appropriate security controls.
• Advise on blockchain governance, operational security, and risk management
• Job Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, cybersecurity, or software engineering in the blockchain domain
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, wallets, digital assets, key management, and blockchain architecture.
• Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and architectures.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, cloud environments, and blockchain platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience; blockchain, cloud, security, or architecture certifications are an advantage.
