Board Design Engineer

Description

Our Hardware R&D group develops advanced hardware platforms for AudioCodes' SBCs, media gateways, networking, and telecommunications products. We are looking for a Board Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of hardware boards, including schematic design, component selection, PCB layout guidance, board bring-up, debugging, validation, and release to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware boards for AudioCodes products.
• Create schematics and select components according to system requirements.
• Guide PCB layout activities.
• Perform board bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation.
• Support product release to production.
• Work closely with relevant teams throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Must
• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• 3+ years of board design experience.
• Experience with processors, DDR, Ethernet, PCIe, power, and high-speed interfaces.
• Strong hands-on debugging and laboratory skills.
• Independent, technically strong, and a good team player.
• Advantage
• Experience with telecommunications products.
• Experience with FPGA/VHDL.
• Experience with OrCAD and Allegro.
