Elbit Systems – C4I & Cyber Division is seeking an Operational Researcher (Netanya Site) Join an operational research team engaged in analyzing, studying, and evaluating the performance of complex systems within the defense domain This is a unique opportunity to influence critical decision‑making processes and take part in meaningful work that bridges academic research with real-world operational environments

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand complex research problems in the field of operational analysis
• Adapt research and simulation tools to fit specific problem domains
• Conduct end-to-end operational research and derive actionable insights
• Present research findings and conclusions to internal and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain working relationships with project teams and customers, ensuring continuous collaboration

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
• M.Sc. in one of the above fields – an advantage
• Experience in operational research within the defense sector – an advantage
• Military background, particularly in combat roles – an advantage
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and/or development environments (e.g., Python, MATLAB) – an advantage
• High level of English proficiency
• Strong teamwork skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to present findings clearly
