Equipment Specialist

Description

We are looking for an Equipment Specialist to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be Responsible for overseeing maintenance, calibration, and management of production equipment, jigs, and fixtures to ensure optimal operational performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Develop and implement strategies for maintenance, equipment upgrades, and jig/fixture duplication. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including hands-on tasks and coordination with internal teams and external vendors. Manage calibration schedules, review and approve reports, and maintain compliance documentation. Oversee the lifecycle of jigs and fixtures, from design and assembly to usage and replacement, ensuring accurate documentation. Control inventory, storage, and procurement of equipment, jigs, fixtures, and spare parts. Maintain accurate records in ERP/QMS systems and provide regular updates to management. Writing and performing Installation Qualification (IQ) protocols. Providing rapid troubleshooting and technical support to the production line in the event of malfunctions.

Requirements

• Engineering technical degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification; calibration certification – must .
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance and calibration, preferably in the medical device industry – must .
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Strong technical aptitude, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP and QMS systems.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
