FullStack Software Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Fullstack engineer (backend-oriented) to join the IVIX team and help build and maintain data-intensive web applications across a polyglot monorepo (React/TypeScript frontend, Python/FastAPI and NestJS backends, and a MongoDB/Elasticsearch/Neo4j data layer), deployed both on-premises and as a SaaS offering on Kubernetes.

About the postion

End-to-end development of features and systems used daily by key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Evolve our engineering and architecture to support the ever-growing scale of users, features, and data. Work closely with Product & Design, while having full ownership of features from, planning and technical design to post-deployment Implement solutions to complex problems in large amounts of data and scale. Write and maintain tests across the stack Contribute to shared libraries and infrastructure Tech Stack Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query Backend: Python (FastAPI), Node.js (NestJS), MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Neo4j, Kafka Data Orchestration: Apache Airflow Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, on-prem + SaaS deployment

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• 3+ years with Python backend development (FastAPI or similar async frameworks)
• Solid understanding of SQL, MongoDB and data modeling
• Experience with REST API design
• BSc. in CS, engineering, or equivalent - an advantage
• Self-learner, can-do solid attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience in high-scale systems
