We are looking for a hands-on Lab Applications Developer to join our Hardware Engineering team.

In this role, you will design and build custom software applications, web-based tools, database solutions, and test automation frameworks to control lab equipment and validate complex hardware systems.

You will also integrate modern AI-driven tools to enhance data analysis and automate smart lab workflows.

This is a full-time position in Tel Aviv

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test software, web-based interfaces, and scripts for hardware validation.
• Experience with frontend web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue) for building lab dashboards.
• Integrate with lab Class Test equipment, e.g., Testers, handlers, and thermal solutions for automated flows.
• Develop custom scripts for data migration, ETL processes, and seamless transfer between different databases.
• Implement AI/ML features and LLM-based solutions to optimize test coverage, analyze lab data, and predict failure patterns.
• Build robust Web scripts/frontends and pipelines to visualize validation test results in real-time.
• Collaborate with Hardware and System Engineers to translate test requirements into scalable automated scripts.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming & Web Skills: Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and web-based development (e.g., REST APIs, web scripting, Flask/FastAPI/Django).
• Database & Migration: Solid experience with relational/non-relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and writing data migration/ETL scripts to transfer data across systems.
• AI Integration: Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of integrating AI/ML models, LLM APIs, or data analysis tools into software workflows.
• Experience with hardware interfaces and protocols ( I2C, USB, Ethernet) - Advantage
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) applied to hardware test setups- Advantage
• Basic understanding of board design, schematics reading, or PCB debugging - Advantage
