Position Overview Pi-Cardia is looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Associate to support the company's day-to-day maintenance and facility operations. The role is responsible for maintaining equipment, utilities, and building systems, coordinating preventive maintenance and calibration programs, managing external vendors, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for maintenance and calibration of manufacturing, QC, and R&D equipment, jigs, and tools.
  • Preparing and monitoring an annual maintenance plan and defining required maintenance actions for the company’s equipment, jigs, and tools.
  • Overall responsibility to repair various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, including root cause diagnostic.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize
  • Assist in training staff on safety practices related to equipment use.
  • Act as a first responder for facility-related emergencies, coordinating with external vendors when necessary.

Requirements

  • High technical ability with a hands-on approach
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry- Advantage
  • Problem-solving, and creative thinking
  • Ability to read and understand technical/mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency in English (reading/writing)
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills
  • Multi-tasking and handling rapid changes
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Practical Engineer a significant advantage
