Mechanical Engineer

Description

TechMer is seeking a mechanical engineer with experience in developing mechanical designs for electronic devices designed to operate in harsh environments. Familiar with international design standards. Our offices located in Or-Yehuda.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of electronic devices, including electrical wiring and electronic boards (integration), using Autodesk Inventor.
• Creation and maintenance of a set of documentation for the designed product, as well as support for the manufacturer. (AutoCAD dwg drawings, pdf drawings, 3D models)
• Preparation of documentation in accordance with international and company standards
• Familiarization with military standards in the field of design and operation of mechanical products
• Collaboration with electronics design specialists and project managers
• Development of designs using various technologies, including aluminum die casting, plastic molding, pressing, stamping, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc) – mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in complex mechanical design – mandatory
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, including parametric design, assembly creation, and drawing generation – mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of basic international design standards
• Introduction to military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275) – mandatory
• Experience in support subcontractors– mandatory
• Experience working with multidisciplinary systems integrating mechanical and electrical components
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

Advantages
