Operational Excellence Lead

For the Aerospace Division, UAV Operations Department, at the company’s Modiin site, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Lead to join the Innovation and Operational Excellence Directorate.

The Innovation and Operational Excellence Directorate is a partner in building the operational strategy and implementing it across all organizational levels, leading innovation initiatives and process improvement, and serving as the professional authority for excellence methods, tools, and methodologies that support continuous improvement, efficiency, and increased business value.

In this role you will

Be responsible for promoting, implementing, and leading OPEX activities in the UAV Operations Department Lead the culture of operational excellence in the organization, while partnering in building the operational strategy and implementing it across all organizational levels Lead cross-organizational processes to implement excellence and innovation using advanced tools and methodologies Support improvement processes aimed at increasing productivity, shortening lead times, and improving quality Conduct excellence assessments, support investigations, identify gaps, and formulate action plans to improve performance Implement and guide excellence methodologies and tools such as Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, VSM, Kaizen, and 5S Define metrics, analyze data, and monitor the achievement of improvement targets Lead workshops, training sessions, and learning processes in the field of operational excellence Work with multiple interfaces and drive employees and managers in a matrix structure

Requirements

• B.Sc. in a relevant Engineering field or Industrial Engineering and Management
• M.Sc. - Advantage
• At least 3 years of experience leading operational excellence processes in a manufacturing or operational organization
• Proven hands-on experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, and operational excellence tools such as SMED, A3, RCPS, VSM, Kaizen, and 5S
• Experience leading improvement projects, change management, and implementation of new work processes
• Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and lead metric-based processes
• High proficiency in Office applications
• Familiarity and experience working with AI tools - Advantage
• High level of Hebrew and English
• Ability to lead and influence without authority, work independently, drive matrix collaboration, and maintain excellent interpersonal skills
