Procurement Buyer

Description

Techmer, a subsidiary of MER Group, is seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to join our team. Techmer is a leading defense company specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced communication and security solutions. Position Objective Manage the procurement process end-to-end, including purchase orders, supplier management, material availability, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms
• Source and qualify new suppliers
• Work closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, and Engineering teams
• Perform cost analysis and identify cost-reduction opportunities

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in industrial procurement/purchasing
• Experience working with ERP systems (Priority ERP – an advantage)
• High level of English (written and spoken)
• Strong Excel skills

• Technical background, including the ability to read technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM)
