abra professional services is seeking a Project Manager! We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Information Systems department. In this role, you will take full end-to-end ownership of building and implementing new systems within the Insurance and Financial domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initial concept through full rollout in the insurance and financial sectors.
• Drive the setup of systems for new business domains, ensuring seamless integration with existing core platforms.
• Manage external software vendors, overseeing work plans, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, complete functional characterization, drive UAT/testing, and lead implementation.
• Proactively identify risks and maintain high-quality controls across all project phases.
• Oversee post-go-live maintenance, handling issues and escalations with business users and vendors.
• Interface directly with Infrastructure/System and Information Security teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing projects specifically within the Insurance or Financial sectors.
• Deep understanding of business processes in the financial/insurance industry.
• Proven track record of leading strategic, cross-company projects (Advantage).
• Demonstrated success managing software vendors and external service providers.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and influence matrix teams and cross-functional interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Advantage).
