Quantum Sensing & Communications Physicist

For our site in Holon, we are looking for a Quantum Sensing & Communications Physicist to lead a new and innovative R&D activity in the field of Rydberg receivers and advanced quantum technologies This is a unique opportunity to take part in pioneering research with strong potential for professional growth, technical leadership, significant responsibility, and independent work

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, design, establish, and execute research activities and experiments in quantum technologies
• Develop physical models and simulations, perform experimental analysis, and compare results with theoretical models
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across RF, signal processing, hardware, and software domains
• Drive R&D tasks from concept to implementation while integrating engineering considerations

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Quantum Technologies
• Hands-on experience developing and operating laboratory-based physics experiments
• Strong knowledge of quantum technologies and quantum optics
• Experience with physical modeling and simulations
• Excellent analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly adopt and integrate new domains and technologies
