R&D Engineer

Rapid Medical is a fast-growing medical device company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative devices for endovascular interventional procedures. We are looking for a talented and creative engineer to join our R&D team and be a key player in our future development. LOCATION: Yokneam, Israel

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop innovative neurointerventional medical devices as part of the R&D team. Plan and execute verification tests for new prototypes and new products Prepare product documentation, including DHF and DMR Analyze test results and author detailed engineering reports Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to ensure design control compliance Lead design transfer activities, support pilot production, and transition products into manufacturing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from a leading university GPA 85+
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role
• Hands-on experience in the medical device industry – an advantage
• Familiarity with design control processes and standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820) – an advantage
• Proficiency with SolidWorks – an advantage
• Full proficiency in English, including reading and writing technical documentation
• Team player with strong communication skills, self-driven and detail-oriented
