Senior Product Technologist

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Technologist to serve as the technological focal point for PDC's material metrology platforms. In this role, you will lead the scientific and experimental work behind a best-in-class metrology tool. You'll design and run hands-on experiments, both in our labs and at customer sites, and analyze the data rigorously. You'll turn the results into technology direction and system requirements, grounded in a deep understanding of the underlying physics and the customer processes being measured. You'll work closely with Physics, Systems, Algorithms, and Software teams to reach metrology-grade performance.

Must-Haves

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a leading institute, with a strong academic research background
• A proven record of hands-on experimental research: designing experiments, building or adapting setups, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
• 10+ years of R&D experience in multidisciplinary projects, in academia and/or industry
• Solid understanding of semiconductor materials, processes, and device technology

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience developing (not just using) X-ray techniques, microscopy, spectroscopy, optical systems, or SEM
• Experience working with customers or external research partners
• Soft Skills
