Software Engineer

ORION is a data security startup in Tel Aviv. $38M raised, and Fortune 500 enterprises already running us in production, betting their most sensitive data on us being right. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own real parts of it.

What you'll actually do?

Own entire pieces of the product- from "here's a vague problem" to "it's running for enterprise customers".

Design systems that survive real scale: multi-tenant, high-volume, real-time, always-on.

Move fast with AI agents, and stay completely responsible for what lands in production.

Make the team better: your tooling, your workflows, whatever you figured out last weekend.

Who you are?

You've been doing this 5+ years and you have the production scars to prove it.

You think in systems, not tickets. You use AI agents every day and you have opinions about how - planning, context, when to let them run and when to shut them down.

You've owned something big and complex end to end, and you'd rather do that again than be handed a backlog.

5+ years hands-on backend / full-stack- MUST

Strong system design fundamentals: data modeling, scale, resilience, trade-offs- MUST

Versatility across the stack, with real experience owning services in production on cloud infrastructure- MUST

Daily, practical use of AI coding agents beyond prompting: context management, planning, skills/commands, MCP- MUST

Proven end-to-end ownership of complex projects- MUST

Experience in Cybersecurity, data security, or data-heavy platforms- Advantage

Built AI-native features in production: LLM pipelines, agents, evals- Advantage
